If your designs could speak, what would they say?

If my designs could speak, they would weave a rich tapestry of tradition and modernity, echoing the vibrant heritage of Indian artistry. They would narrate stories of regal palaces and ancient rituals, where intricate patterns and lustrous gemstones embody centuries of cultural legacy carved in gold with hues of rich Polki and Kundan stones. Each piece would hum with the rhythmic grace of classical dance and the opulence of royal adornments, inviting you to embrace a fusion of timeless elegance and contemporary flair with diamonds, celebrating the beauty of tradition in every detail.

What are the signature elements in your designs?

In our jewelry designs, signature elements blend opulence and tradition seamlessly. Our pieces feature meenakari work, with vibrant enamel details that add a splash of artistic color. Polki and Kundan's settings elevate the grandeur with uncut diamonds and intricate gold craftsmanship, while sparkling diamonds enhance the luxurious appeal. Richly-hued gemstones and the timeless elegance of gold further enrich the designs, creating a harmonious fusion of cultural heritage and modern sophistication.

Which celebrity or personality do you dream of dressing?

Priyanka Chopra,

Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

I’m especially proud of my new collection, ""Anaya"". This name, meaning ""caring"" and ""compassionate"" in Sanskrit, embodies the collection’s essence of timeless beauty and intricate craftsmanship. ""Anaya"" features a captivating fusion of traditional polki and modern diamonds, harmoniously blended to create designs that are both elegant and striking. The collection celebrates the rich legacy of Indian jewelry while embracing contemporary style, showcasing the raw allure of polki alongside the refined brilliance of diamonds. Each piece in ""Anaya"" tells a story of grace and sophistication, making it a true embodiment of classic luxury with a modern twist.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

Traditional Indian art and architecture, with their intricate patterns and regal motifs, provide a deep well of creativity. I draw from the vibrant colors and textures found in Indian textiles, as well as the historical elegance of royal adornments. Nature’s beauty—its colors, forms, and textures—also plays a significant role, offering endless possibilities for innovative designs. Additionally, personal experiences and stories of cultural heritage influence my work, allowing me to create pieces that celebrate both timeless tradition and contemporary elegance.

Which designer in the world inspires you?

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

While visiting Kolkata a few years back, I struck up a conversation with a new friend at a party, and she started showing me her wedding photos. I couldn’t help but notice how familiar her jewelry looked. Curious, I asked her where she had gotten it from, and she mentioned one of the stores we were working with. To my delight, it turned out she had worn our pieces for her wedding! It was such an unexpected surprise to see my creations featured in her special moments.
